The Local Exchange
The Local Exchange is a community-rooted nonprofit focused on strengthening food security and sovereignty by equipping families and producers with practical skills, education, and supportive community spaces. Through year-round learning opportunities, access to local foods, and hands-on training, we empower people to grow, cook, preserve, share, and sell nourishing food. Our work supports both emerging and established food producers, fosters family wellness and self-sufficiency, and builds stronger connections between neighbors, growers, and educators. Together, these efforts cultivate a resilient, healthy, and community-driven local food and health system.
