The Williamson Health and Wellness Center, as part of the Sustainable Williamson initiative, oversees a substantial community garden, a Mobile Farmers Market, and a partnership with Growing Warriors to introduce veterans into agriculture and farming in Mingo County and surrounding areas. The veterans utilize high tunnel space to grow produce that they sell at the Farmers Market, as well as attend and lead workshops.
