Scott Christian Care Center
Scott Christian Care Center is a nonprofit that promotes health and wellness for residents of the medically underserved community of Scott County, Tennessee. SCCC provides a free medical clinic, medical assistance, a food bank, household and personal hygiene pantry, and life skills classes. Their Grow Appalachia site expanded to McCreary County, Kentucky in 2013. Last year, SCCC Grow Appalachia consisted of more than 90 home and community gardens.
