Our garden has finally been planted. We have seen some major growth on our cucumbers and some of our tomatoes are also starting to sprout some growth. It’s been an exciting adventure. We have added an irrigation system that is set up on a time to run automatically! It was a lot of work but thanks to Jeff we were able to get it going. Unfortunately we had a little set back. We experienced some vandalism in regards to our irrigation system but things have been fixed and we are back on track.
We had beetles that were eating our eggplants but we have since taken care of that problem and no more beetles as of now. The only thing left for us to do is to plant our herb garden but we will be doing that soon and we can’t wait to be able to give back to our community with our garden.
Just a quick pic of one of our grape arbors. They aren’t finished but they are in process!
Blythe, hi. I am in Letcher County. My water pipes and garden are robbed a lot. I saw in a greenhouse magazine where we can order wireless, solar security cameras.
They were expensive, $70! However, there’s some for $409 from some companies. I think I will get some.
