Everyone is trying to get their gardens planted after all the wet weather. It has really been difficult to get things in the ground this year but hopefully we will be seeing some vegetables harvested.
Our workshop on food preservation was well attended and we learned the basics of canning and dehydrating plus some new techniques in canning. All of us are looking forward to a class on canning meat this Fall. Heidi Williams does a great job facilitating these classes.
