ITS GROWING

Hi, This Is Justin Brock at the Red Bird Mission Grow Appalachia.

 

This week has been fun. We were out doing tilling and home visits this week, the seed potatoes, cabbage and broccoli we gave are participants are growing great.

 

We also had a required training this week, heart healthy cooking, at the Clay County extension office. They prepared three delicious dishes from the KY proud recipes  cheesy broccoli potatoes, asparagus tomato salad, and melon berry smoothie. They all are made of fruits and vegetables that you can grow in your home garden.

My favorite out of the three was the cheesy broccoli potatoes.
