This year at Chad’s Hope we have a completely new group of students who are learning how to grow a garden for the first time. It is a challenging task to teach them at times, but their willingness and enthusiasm is encouraging. We use the principle of sowing and reaping to teach an important life lesson. What we sow this spring, we will be harvesting this summer. Through that simple principle we point out how it also relates to life. What we sow in the spring of life will impact us in the harvest of summer. Through our Grow Appalachia work program our students learn good work habits, make positive impact in community and learn to take responsibility. We are thankful for this opportunity!
