Girl Scout Troop 1882 based out of Barbourville, Kentucky, participated in the Grow Appalachia gardening program this growing season. On May 17th the troop participated in a planting workshop at the Barbourville Community Garden. The girls were able to get their hands dirty putting in tomato and pepper transplants as well as seeds which they watched grow all year.
