I haven’t stopped since getting out of bed at six a.m. It seems everyone was needing something and I was trying my best to get everything to everyone in a timely manner. Well, enough of that, my gardeners have reported bumper crops of corn, tomatoes, potatoes, and the list goes on. I know that many are still preserving tomatoes in as many ways as they can think of, salsa, juice, whole tomatoes, relishes and while one thinks will these tomatoes ever stop bearing, it will all taste good this winter.  We may have had buckets of rain but the vegetables thrived especially the potatoes, tomatoes, green beans and corn. Some people said their cucumbers didn’t do as well but that was a minor problem.

I am glad for a break from the humidity and looking forward to a pleasantly cool Autumn, just dreading what comes next.
