One of our members Betsy, is the Ecd teacher here at Red Bird, she took her kids this week and taught them about gardening.

She taught them about the tools like a hoe, rack, and shovel. It being fall time all they could plant was fall crops, but they planted lettuce, mustard, collards, radishes and cabbage. She let them get in and get there hands dirty and showed them how to plant the seeds.

The kids loved it and Betsy enjoyed teaching the kids about Gardening. Hopefully they will learn from the experience and use it down the road.
It is likely that the kids will not only learn from this experience, they will never forget it. My best memories are about being in the garden with my mom.
