This is eliot at the Appalachian South Folklife Center. The youth groups staying at the folklife center did a bunch of weeding and harvesting for us this week!! Yay!

We got our first watermelons and a ton of carrots, as well as a few tomatoes (they are not turning red like other tomato crops in the area- not sure why) . Our beans have finally made a full recovery from the deer feasts earlier in the season and likewise, a few cucumbers are coming on too.
