We had our first farmers market at the fourth of July celebration at the Red Bird Mission. We had five people to sell. We had a lot of different kinds of vegetables like potatoes, beans, cabbage, cucumbers, different kinds of lettuce, zucchini, peppers, and onions. They nearly all sold all they had and did a great job advertising for our farmers market weeks to come. All together it was a great evening we done good on our farmers market, had live music, and the Red Bird fire department done a great job with the fire works.

We had a lot of bigger zucchini so we hand out recipes with them when we sold them. One was a zucchini relish. Here it is hope you enjoy.
