This week, we visited Jackson County Regional Food Center as they had their “kick off” for Farmer’s Markets. We were invited to visit by Cathy Howell. We met her and many other local participants and representatives of their organization.

We received a tour of the Jackson County Regional Food Center. They operate a shared-use kitchen with the capability to prepare, process and package a multitude of food types. They had samples of jams, jellies, salsa, cheese dip and Bar-B-Que and hot sauces. A wonderful facility that is available to anyone to use for a nominal fee. In other news, RBM GA will have our Farmer’s Market with home grown vegetables Friday evening at 6 PM near the Red Bird Mission ball field. The RBM Fire Department will also provide an expanded fireworks display and sell Hot Dogs and other attractions.
Come bring your GA vegetables to sell and join in the Patriotic Fun for the 4th.
