We all love pizza and wanted to help folks know that they could make their own pizza without too much trouble. Pizza can become the canvas for some lovely and healthy food as the garden comes into production. Also, the results could be very tasty.

When we made our pizzas, we used fine ground white whole wheat flour and olive oil in the crust.  Then fresh basil leaves and grape tomatoes were put on top of the sliced mozzarella.  The pizzas were deliciously eye appealing as well as delectable to eat.

Each time we make something, we have people try it and give out the recipes to everyone. While we know not everyone is willing to make these recipes, there are a few that will. All of them are grateful for the information none-the-less.

The after school children and the summer program participants simply love making their own personal pizzas that they can decorate (or not!) and bake. Making pizza with fresh garden plants is such a treat for everyone. Also, it is a great educational experience for any child. Pizza-Art for the tummy!
