We have been very busy here @ Westcare during the last few weeks and our greenhouse is packed with many different varieties of plants ready to go into the ground. After the soil samples came back from our plot at Lookout we decided to go a different direction with our other garden.  We were able to obtain about 7 acres of fertile ground in Beefhide. The ground was plowed and tilled last week and on Monday we planted cabbage, brussell sprouts, and broccoli.  We were even fortunate enough to get a good rain that night after we planted them to water the plants in good.  Here at the Westcare Garden we built several carrot beds, planted lettuce, spinach, and plan on getting some of our tomato plants out in the upcoming week.
