Letcher County Farmers’ Market was pleased to be selected as a participant for the Eastern Kentucky Farmers’ Market Support Program, a Community Farm Alliance Pilot Project.
Involvement in this will provide insight and assistance in business planning and market development and fundraising. Direction for identifying the role of the market manager along with duties and responsibilities and Board development. Vendor support and workshops will also be available for growers.
This will be a valuable resource for our new market and we look forward to attending workshops with Floyd County, Berea, Rockcastle and Whitley County Farmer’s Markets’ as we begin this process.
