Everyone is having a difficult time getting their gardens planted. Most of those who planted potatoes have seen those unmistakable leaves pop through the ground and everyone has planted their cabbages. A few of us have planted beans and corn but many are waiting on the ground to dry out so they can plant their seed crops. Myrtle has a beautiful row of beets. The organic fertilizer is wonderful. One of my novice gardeners has plowed part of his yard for a garden and his having difficulty with grass. I know he should have plowed in the Fall but he didn’t so what can I tell him to do now? I bought a swarm of bees and introduced them to their new home in April. I hope to send pictures of that soon. Looking forward to the arrival of some Dominque chickens.
