Grow Oak Ridge is a nonprofit organization connecting locally grown food with the public through farmers markets, community gardens, and education in Anderson County, Tennessee.

As a partner site with Grow Appalachia, we facilitate the Grow Your Own Program, which seeks to improve community food resiliency and provides participants with the basic tools, education, and resources to start a vegetable garden plot, in their backyard or in the community garden.

We work closely with farmers, home gardeners, and the community to increase access to fresh produce. We operate 2 markets: the Indoor Winter Farmers Market and Market-to-Go, our year round online ordering platform. We also manage the Grow & Learn Community Garden, which rents 30 plots to the public.
