GreenHouse17

Formerly known as the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program, GreenHouse 17 is a 40-acre domestic violence shelter and advocacy agency dedicated to ending intimate partner abuse and its impact on families and communities. In 2014, GreenHouse 17 dedicated a commercial kitchen that has launched an entrepreneurship and apprenticeship program that residents of the shelter take part in, in exchange for a small stipend. Their “Handmade by Survivors” body care products have generated substantial income for the shelter.
