Denise “Deni” Peterson is the Learning Landscapes Manager for Appalachian Sustainable Development. Deni draws from over twenty five years of organic gardening experience to help her design, build and maintain outdoor classrooms around the region. Deni lives in Abingdon, VA where she and her family run a small organic farming business called Blue Door Garden from their home where Deni specializes in cut flower production.
