Hello! My name is Jocelyn Brown, and I am a current student at UVA-Wise pursuing a major in Biology. I am beyond blessed to have this opportunity to intern at the extension office. I have grown up gardening and have always had a love of the outdoors and nature, especially wildlife, so this internship is an experience I could not pass up.

Although I have worked a few weeks already, I have been able to learn and experience so much. So far, I have been able to get involved with the Grow Wise program and visit several members and their gardens. Additionally, I have held a few workshops at the extension office where I have met wonderful people. I am especially excited for the upcoming 4-H camp as I have never been!

I look forward to learning all that I can from the remainder of this internship and cannot wait to see what the future holds!
