Now that spring has officially sprung in Eastern Kentucky, we’re getting everything in order to have a successful growing season!  Our participants are picking up seed potatoes and gardening supplies, and our team is visiting homes to till up garden sites, and provide fresh soil.

Coming up, we have an educational class for our participants to get together, learn, and share ideas! We’re so excited to build this community and expand our skills together.  Grace Covenant Ministries has also been gifted a freeze dryer, which will allow us to equip our participants with a new food preservation option! This will help reduce food waste, help our participants to store large quantities of produce, and even help reduce food insecurity.

We’d also like to thank The Grove Greenhouse in Annville for partnering with us, to provide organic compost for our participants!
