We’ve had such a harsh winter this year here in Cincinnati, and our gardeners are eager to get their hands in the dirt. But we know that growing food takes time and care. Making sure that we’re not rushing our seeds to perform and enjoying them as they respond to our gentleness, helps us slow down just a bit, and appreciate every little leaf that breaks the soil.
Eagerness to be in a space that drains out the loud and dramatic events of today’s world is starting to show. It never surprises me how gratitude from the garden spills out into the rest of our lives. Appreciative for harvest of the seeds we’ve sown or the tender seedlings we’ve transplanted, soon come!
