We hosted our Garden Planting workshop in April. The workshop was led by Timothy Breeding and Mike Eldridge od Rocket Farm. They discussed best practices for planting their gardens and encouraged the new growers. Our program this year is focused on new and beginning growers and Tim and Mike did a really good job speaking to them in ways that made them feel comfortable and confident. At the end of the workshop each participant got to take home cabbage and heirloom tomato plants purchased from Bennet Quillen of Quillen Farms.
