As the first hints of green, flowers begin to emerge, and the sun stays out longer we can’t help but feel that is time for a new beginning and a fresh start.  Spring is not only a season but a time for renewal and the belief that new beginnings are possible.  We start feeling the warm sun on our arms and smell of the spring rains and our mind turns to all of the plants and seeds we dreamed about as we thumbed through the seed catalogs that arrived in our mailboxes during the long dark winter months.  Will we grow pumpkin spice jalapenos, or will it be Thai Red Chili peppers or German Pink or Mortgage Lifter tomatoes the options are limited less We are grateful to be a member of the Grow Appalachia family allowing us the opportunity to assist families in our community and to excited to see what our families will grow and to see the fruits of their labor.
