April 21 was The “Organic Gardening” class. Instructors topics were: Techniques, Pros and Cons, Mulching and Composting/Composting Barrells.

We had another full house, including some young ones. Participants have received plants, potato seed, corn, green beans and hoes!

We hope everyone has their plants and seeds in the ground. With a blessing of abundance to each garden! Thanks to all the participants who share their pictures with me!

The next meeting is May 19,2022 at 5:30 @ Scott Christian Care Center. This class will be Food Preservation and Beneficial Insects:

We are also scheduling a field trip to the “Dilly Dilly Lavender Farm” in Oneida, TN.  We will do this sometime in June. This is the time that the lavender is in bloom.  We are excited about seeing the fields of lavender and they way that the lavender is used.

One of our dearly, loved volunteers passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. Clifford Seeber age 75 went to be with the Lord on Monday.  He has volunteered at the Center for 7 years. He was a good man of God and shared his testimony with many. His heart was BIG! He loved the Center and its mission. He will be greatly missed.
