Hello garden friends and Grow Appalachia followers!

Summer is here! Over-the-Rhine People’s Garden is in full bloom. Gardeners are busy harvesting and enjoying lots of healthy fruits and vegetables like currants, beets, lettuces, kale, cabbage, herbs, asparagus and more. We are grateful to have had several successful volunteer events in the garden this month, thanks again Taft’s Ale House and Civic Garden Center. Volunteer days are a great way to give back to your community, and for us gardeners they are so helpful for getting tough jobs done like laying paver stones, mulching and pulling those pesky weeds. Check out some pictures from this month:)

Thanks again for following our urban garden, Over-the-Rhine People’s Garden, and I look forward to sharing our flower and food adventures through our monthly blog.

Peace, Love, Happiness and Gardening,

Christina
