This month, we’ve been hard at work tilling gardens and gathering supplies. We still have a few more gardens left to till, but things are coming along nicely. Members are already having cabbage, cauliflower, and green onions starting to come up.
One member even posted a picture of a potato plant growing that he didn’t even plant!
Members are also posting pictures of themselves and their families working in their gardens.
Last week, we had a great meeting with the Grow Breathitt County members where we talked about Food Safety.
Tonight, the Youth Program will be meeting to discuss entrepreneurship as it is related to selling what they grow at the Farmer’s Market this summer.
