Happy October Grow Appalachia Friends!
Our Cincinnati Partner Site, Over-the-Rhine People’s Garden, is finally settling down after a busy growing season. Fall weather in Ohio has been mild so far allowing our gardeners to continue to harvest lots of fresh herbs, peppers and tomatoes. Our sweet potatoes are ready and we have plans to harvest the rest of the batch this weekend before the first frost arrives. Check out some of our favorite fall pictures of our food and “friends” growing in the garden.
