Burr!! Old Man Winter has finally arrived in Cincinnati, OH after a very mild Autumn. This past weekend Over-the-Rhine People’s Garden was smothered with its first blanket of snow- Thank you winter storm Jonas.
Winter may be a slow time for most gardeners but not for our friends at Paul Mitchell the School Cincinnati! This holiday season Paul Mitchell the School Cincinnati planned a staff door decorating contest. The Admissions Department used #GivingIsMyStyle as part of the competition. Paul Mitchell believes in doing good for people, animals and our planet which is why Paul Mitchell the School Cincinnati’s Admissions Leaders, Christina and Adair, had to join their global family and share why they give back on Instagram (or Twitter) with #GivingIsMyStyle! But wait, the best part is when you #hashtag #GivingIsMyStyle Paul Mitchell will donate $1 to Grow Appalachia! Way to go Paul Mitchell the School Cincinnati and Paul Mitchell!!
Now that it is 2016 our Grow Appalachia Garden Coordinators are busy planning for spring and looking forward to The Grow Appalachia Gathering in late February. We will be back next month with more photos and plans:) Have a great January Garden Friends!
