It’s New Year’s Eve! All of us here at GreenHouse17 are looking forward to a 2016 filled with growth. And with this anticipation comes memories of the long year behind us. It was filled with so much goodness and healing. We combed through our blog posts this year to celebrate our accomplishments and remember the challenges:

  • January – Prep and strategy
  • February – Snow and patience
  • March – Children and farming
  • April – Appreciation and memories
  • May – Earth Day and worms
  • June – Bees and beginning again
  • July – Potato bugs and solutions
  • August – Meaningful work and training
  • September – Good-byes and next steps
  • October – Working and healing together
  • November – Retail partnerships and sales
  • December – Value-added products and the holidays

  • We’re so excited for fresh produce, fresh air, and fresh starts next year! With the generous support of Grow Appalachia, we’ll continue our farm stipend program to provide survivors of intimate partner abuse with agricultural and micro-enterprise training opportunities. From our farmily to yours, we wish you peace, healing, and bountiful harvests in 2016!
