Dorothy Feltner (VISTA) from Lotts Creek Community School reporting in a few days late. It’s been a very busy couple of weeks!
Most of our sprouts are doing great. They need to get more light though and should be moved to our greenhouse. We’ve had a water security problem at our greenhouse. One of our buildings has been condemned for the time being and the water pipes have busted requiring the water to be shut off. Repairs should begin today.
We have held our first meeting and I have begun to conduct house visits. One inspiring grower is growing his own bamboo for plant supports.
I have also made brochures for our program to help our participants and partners talk about us and Grow Appalachia.
