Oh the fun these children had on peanut digging day.
Monday before our meeting we dug peanuts. Oh I’m telling you there was so much fun had it will give you a lump in your throat watching it all. Zella had them singing peanut songs and everyone just had such a great day I’m pretty sure we were all just busting with the pleasure of it all. It was just as wonderful as Mr. Bill hoped it would be the day he planted them. There was more than one person who commented “I didn’t know peanuts grew underground”
