Fig tent
The last couple weeks have been crazy busy with putting the beds and gardens to bed for the year. I think we have harvested the last tender crops(except the figs) and gotten our cover crops on and most unused raised beds cleaned out and mulched. We’ve had a lot of great volunteers helping thank goodness. We are busy on monday nites taking a Master Gardner course from the Bell Co. KY Extension Service. We had a great trip to UT’s field day and we all learned a lot. We enjoyed having David and Mark along too. We are also enjoying all the late season crops. We have lots of mustard greens, tat soi, lettuces, kales so far. The cabbages and kohlrabi’s are growing fast.
1st snow out my window this morning.
