I had to share some pictures of the boys enjoying a 50ish lb. watermelon our member Iris shared with us and Marion and her mom helping with the sweet potato harvest. Such fun. Fall crops are growing like mad here and we are enjoying fresh salads, stir fries and mustard greens. Right now there’s just some weeding to do, watering the high tunnel and greenhouse, and looking for cabbage worms and harlequin bugs to squish. We are getting ready for our annual Harvest Party on Saturday. We are also taking a Master Gardening course through UK extension service. Next week thursday we are going to the University of Tenn. Organic garden day.
