Beautiful Eastern Ky

Hi this is Justin Brock at the Red Bird Mission Grow Appalachia. This week we have been cutting out kits for our chicken tractors.

I’ve got all the measurements figured out so all I have to do is cut the boards, take them to the place and put them together. With help from the participant.

We went over into Leslie county on top of Lonesome Mountain to one of the members homes that requested a chicken tractor. I am from that area and the volunteer I had with me hasn’t been over that way and she took some beautiful pic’s of the mountains on the way over.

We got there unloaded everything and started putting together the puzzle. This is my first time building one of these tractors.

 

I thought I had everything down perfect, down to the T, but some of the measurements where off just a little. We done some tweaking and I thought it turned out very well. Over all I thought it was a successful build.

Add some chicken boxes, chickens and it’ll be ready to go.
