Eggplant by Sue@Lmu

For the 1st year we finally managed to grow some eggplants. This is the 1st one I harvested and ate. It was divine. In the past they have been attacked and demolished by flea beetles. I managed to spray them with Spinosad frequently enough for the 1st few weeks out in a raised bed to get them to survive. We had put them in a raised bed and also tried to cover them with row cover but the winds would just blow it off so I gave up on that.
