Our very own farmers market

Why not stop, or drive, walk, stroll by and see our farmers market?  Everything is fresh, hand grown, hand picked, even the signs are handmade by the very same people that grew the crops. LCAAHC started the Grow Appalachia farmers market this past Friday, 5th. We are conveniently located outside the LCAAHC  on N Mill Street right before 13th Street , London KY so drive by and get yourself something.

 

While Friday was my last day at the site, I spent it selling peppers, sweet peppers, tomatoes and egg plants and the feeling was phenomenal. working together with the teens in the youth program, we raised some serious amount of money and it was really great to use some of my customer service skills from Berea College’s work study program with the communication skills I gained from here as well.

What a nice way to end a gardening internship, right?
