The annual summer Gardening program at LCAAHC started this Monday, 9th June, 2014. The summer program is tailored to provide garden experience to the youth in areas of agriculture and commerce. The teens, ages ranging from 11-16 years will work weekdays focusing on “gardening skills.”

This week, there were four youth that started. They were taught how to weed, they participated in various activities like flower planting at the center, fundraising at meatloaf  dinner on Friday.

If you want your teen to spend their summer doing something beneficial and learning various world skills, or,  if you are a teen “currently attending or graduated for local middle or high Schools,” applications are still being accepted at:
