With rainfall occurring almost every day this week, not much has been accomplished in the garden. Zucchini and summer squash are starting to come in so we should start getting production reports from our families. Our UK Robinson Center Farmer’s Market kicked into gear this week with several vendors showing up with cabbage and beans. One of our new vendors this year informed us he has sweet corn almost ready for market. Our new Farmer’s Market Shelter (40′ x 80′) is well underway. Contractor estimates it will be finished

in 2 weeks. Once complete, we plan to host a grand opening celebration. We’re hoping several of our Grow Breathitt County families will be inspired to participate.
