Spring has Sprung in Breathitt Co.

It’s seventy nine degrees in Jackson, KY right now and we are finishing up the initial tillage of the gardens for our first year of Grow Breathitt County, part of the Grow Appalachia Program. Our field technician began his first day of work this week and has gotten off to a great start. At this moment he is planting onions and potatoes in our demonstration garden at RCARS. We are looking forward to what this year has to offer and all of the good garden vegetables grown by our participants.
