My name is Sophia Stallard. I just completed my first year at UVA-Wise where I am majoring in environmental science. Having been a 4-Her since I was 9 years old, the chance to intern at the extension office was not something I would pass on! 4-H related tasks are only a fraction of what I plan on doing for these next 10 weeks, so I am eager to take on any challenge that is coming my way. I am very interested in the work I am expected to do. I intend to make the most of the educational opportunities, incorporate lessons and tips into my daily life, and be a helping hand for anyone in need.

After completing my first day, I can sincerely say that this internship will be packed with fun-filled adventures. I look forward to the weeks ahead, and I am excited to see what things are in store!
