Last time I told you some of our participants were interested in growing Salad Bowl Gardens to share with others. Several have been planted to distribute to some older apartment dwelling folks.
Sprouts are Sprouting!
I started my own about 6 weeks ago. They are doing well.
I have delivered 10 gardens to neighbors and friends.
Last year I grew several pots for my family. We ate all summer from our little salad bowl gardens.
With just a pot, some soil and a few seeds you also can help feed your own family and even share with a few others. What a great idea for young kids to begin gardening and learning to help and share with others.
What a wonderful gift for teachers or others. Grow in a decorative pot, add a cute pair of gardening gloves, a bottle of salad dressing and you have a wonderful gift!
