Happy FRIDAY from Over-the-Rhine People’s Garden!!
What a great week we’ve had in our Grow Appalachia Partner Site! Our first victory of the week was a scheduled workday with Heartical Natural Foods. Heartical brought over a big group of helpers to prepare the garden for spring planting. Check out the below pictures from the day:)
We are very grateful for our friends at Heartical Natural Foods! Heartical Natural Foods is located right around the corner from the garden on Vine Street. We are hoping to have produce in their store this summer. More updates will come soon!
The following photos are from last night. Garden Coordinator Ali and I met to discuss the details of the Go Cincinnati event happening in the garden this weekend. We will have 8 community members help us with weeding, cleaning and planting! Woo-hoo!!
